A nice article about the other investigations going on concerning Trump, his businesses, his family and his associates.

The ones being handled by Federal district courts were handed off by Mr. Mueller. These district attorney's are not bound as Mr. Mueller was in his role of special counsel.

Report going to be damning for you? Appoint a stooge, have him give the legal opinion you want, withhold the report for an extended period of time so that message resonates, repeat messaging ad nauseum, redact out damaging material, repeat message one last time to massive coverage extolling "no collusion", run off to vacation so that you don't have to answer for any of it.

He played the dems. His base doesn't really care if what he did should lead to impeachment or not, they only care if not impeaching him is defensible in the court of public opinion. Because of the roll-out, it is. Trump won
That's pretty much it.

We all know it.
Sure he did. Unlike most in the GOP, he stood up on his hind legs & fought instead of rolling over.

If that's the case, why continue to make yourself look foolish by believing in crimes that do not exist. Just say you don't like Trump and move on.

You look absolutely foolish at this point.

So Trump's a genius now at the dark arts? Thought you guys said he was an idiot? Make up your minds, or better yet, move on and get a life

“obstruction of justice can be motivated by a desire to protect noncriminal personal interests, to protect against investigations where underlying criminal conduct falls into a gray area, or to avoid personal embarrassment.” Mueller Report

In other words, obstruction can potentially be proven with one of these motives, even if the underlying crime can not be. They are separate and you do not have to be guilty of 'collusion/conspiracy' in order to be guilty of obstruction.

Congress simply needs to do one thing. Based on Mueller's report, is the president’s conduct acceptable? Has he abused his powers to protect himself or his associates from justice?

There are over 100 pages in this report detailing Trumps words and actions in regards to this. All very much factual and much of it done publicly and known as it occurred.

He's masterful at playing the media. I think even his biggest critics will admit as much. This is the presidential version of Trump calling publications (to toot his own horn) pretending to be someone else 30 years ago. He's always been good at it.

The swing voters may not vote based on this issue.

They might be waiting to see what Trump offers up with healthcare....it seems to be the number one.

But yeah I don't think it shifted anybody at all.

Did anyone read page 181 of the document (PDF page 189)?

" The Office therefore did not charge any individual associated with the Trump Campaign with conspiracy to commit a federal offense arising from Russia contacts, either under a specific statue or under Section 371's offenses clause."

Also read the second paragraph of that page....
