His platform was extremely moderate, and he has done nothing within a million miles of racism against any race other than his own. It's just more stupid lies.

The author of the textbook does not say Trump is mentally ill.
This excerpt from the article clearly states that the Clinton supporters feared....his mental stability. “Clinton’s supporters feared that the election had been determined by people who were afraid of a rapidly developing ethnic diversity of the country, discomfort with their candidate’s gender and nostalgia for an earlier time in the nation’s history,” the textbook reads. “They also worried about the mental stability of the president-elect and the anger that he and his supporters brought to the nation.”
That's a fact...that's not fake news. Many Trump critics did and do wonder about his mental stability.
The "bringing anger" part, though, is a stupid lie. And the "afraid" of diversity part is stupid projection; no one is "afraid"; people just don't want it because it is harmful.

Someone could create a textbook that says Barry visits men in bath houses and snorts(or however you use it) cocaine and that Hellary molests children and that Bill rapes young girls/women and that Joe fondles children.

There is a clear agenda to bring down a President who holds the information that would expose all of the real crimes done by the admins before him. They play dirty and every crime that they accuse President Trump of is their own crimes being exposed by themselves.
I thought it was a pretty succinct and accurate observation of some of the public's issues surrounding the 2016 election and Trump as a POTUS.
I didn't see any sort of statements of absolute fact or diagnoses being made.
The title of this thread is quite misleading.
Exactly! Everyting in quotes before the statement, "In other words, Advanced Placement students are going to be taught..." is accurate.

Descriptions of Trump as mentally unstable and labeling many of his supporters racist, while likely accurate, are subjective. Even if most people were to agree, these items are still not proven (until Trump was ever to be clinically determined as such). History books should for the most part be objective and stick to the facts.
