Spare me the poutrage.
Isn't that true of every political or press gathering since, say, Washington?

Have you seen Breitbart, Fox, and half the conservative media sites lately? Not exactly William Buckley tone stuff if you ask me. Not to mention half the threads on C-D putting Trump in a good light and/or Democrats, SJWs, Feminists, etc. in a bad light

The presstitutes are NOT exempt from this law. I just heard about that recently. Is that why Trump has said mainstream media will be out of business in a few years? The audience will find out a big source of revenue for the media shills comes from overseas.
And being paid by the Koch Brothers, Wilkes Brothers, Robert Mercer, etc paying journalists to write stories they favor isn't lobbying either - notwithstanding that they are domestic? So what is it? Are the Kochs, Wilkes, and Mercer engaged in lobbying per your definition, too? OR are reporters for foreign governments simply providing an different perspective on Capital Hill doings (RT anyone?). Sounds like the presstitutes for billionaires are just as bad as the ones for foreign governments. And this is before we get to your use of "presstitutes" when you bemoan the use of sensationalist wording in stories (whether in headlines or the main text).

Sorry, but if the conservatives can post sensationalist stories against Democrats, Liberals, etc. then we also can do so about Trump and Republicans.

Well, by your own standard, there goes CBN, OneAmerica News, and even most of Fox News' press credentials for the event.

By your own standards, Trump's the biggest crybaby of all.

Even fairly sensitive people I know already know would acknowledge that part of being POTUS is being subject to ridicule by the entertainment industry, the "papers" (or these days "online"), and even correspondence dinners is simply part and parcel of holding the Oval Office. Even they would know not to take it personally and know that every president, Rep or Dem, is subject to all this.

Trump apparently does not. That or else his ego is so big that he thinks he ought to be an exception. Either way, it reflects poorly on him.

Exactly.

That is why WE pay her [Huckabee-Sanders] salary, not the Trump campaign.

He is absolutely unequipped to handle that type of socially interactive situation where he would need humility, a healthy self-image and a honed sense of humor. Anyone that is unable to laugh at themselves has psychological issues.

Trump went to the Alf Landon dinner in NYC right before the Election and was roasted—
Supremely embarrassed by the jokes making fun of him
It was a liberal NYC crowd and most movers in NYC didn’t like Trump before he ran for office
Once he got the GOP nomination and started showing his true colors he sealed their dislike

But while it was funny to see him taking shot after shot—
The last laugh was his—cause he won the election (by hook or crook as it was)...

The fact that he can’t bring himself to attend any event where he has to take heat, behave with good grace when criticized just proves he has no capacity for self-criticism...or self-awareness...

If you can’t laugh at yourself, there is really something wrong with you...

So you are "confirming" these media stories are fake (and defending the biggest liar we have ever had for POTUS) by posting links from other media sources. That's rich.

10s of 1000s go to Trump's rallies because they appreciate a President willing to spend time with the people. Here's what they don't want. Opinion given to them by the TV pundit. Take lesson from that. You might be a little happier.

Still no answer for me, huh? So I'm right. Those rallies accomplish nothing and cost us a bundle.

Trump’s expenses are supposed to be covered by his re-election campaign to certain extent
The ones that are campaign rallies
If the government is paying for Trump to campaign that itself is a crime==and violation of Federal Election laws

Well, it looks like exactly what it is - more proof that Trump is a thin-skinned, humorless coward who is starting to grasp how many people despise him, and understands that there's a lot to despise.
