Will it ever end? These events are happening more and more frequently it seems. Why are we not doing anything about this? Why is doing nothing and hoping for different results all we can seem to do? The government is supposed to be protecting us. That is their job dammit, and all they can do is allow our young people to be slaughtered.
If our politicians cared about Americans, they would be working to make us safe. Schools would have actual security and people to keep students safe. Teachers would be trained on how to deal with these situations instead of preparing to be the next victim. This used to be a nation full of people of action who could solve these problems. Today, politicians and media convince everyone that we are helpless, and we must accept these tragedies as part of ordinary life here in America. Or, they try to convince us that we must surrender our freedoms, our guns, and our very way of life.
75% of those comments were on the race of the shooter, completely ignoring the tragedy itself. Disgusting. The American public has been worked up into a frenzy by the manipulative lame stream media and the evil politicians. Divide and conquer, divide and conquer, steal more rights, and rob us of our freedom. It's all working according to their plan.

Sorry to hear that. My niece was attending up until last semester. Seemed like a lovely place to go to school. She just told us she remembered the suspect's face from one of her classes.
We can Bet New Zealand has not had another since the last one over a month ago. No place is immune but at least they were proactive and offered more than the lame "thoughts and prayers" BS.

Again, this will not get much coverage unless the shooter is white, used an AR15, wearing a MAGA hat, yelling “this is MAGA COUNTRY!”. Other than that, it’s just a typical Tuesday in Chicago.

The problem is it's become so commonplace there is no outrage any longer. We have accepted it as our new normal.
