Recently a jury ordered Monsanto to pay $289 million to cancer patient in Roundup lawsuit.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...uit/962297002/

What might be even more devastating to our health is the genetically modified corn and soybeans they throw at us.

'The first commercial GM (genetically modified) corn varieties, usually known as Bt corn, were released by a few companies in the mid-1990s, but soon one company, Monsanto, became the industry leader with its Roundup Ready corn.

GM corn use has steadily increased in the U.S., with about 80% of the corn acreage now growing it.

Half the world rejected GMOs, but not the United States. Politicos with no knowledge of the subject endorsed the process.

An especially frightening side-effect of GM crops is that laboratory tests feeding them to animals (rodents) and livestock have found serious health problems, including crippled immune systems, pre-cancerous cell growth, liver damage, abnormal development of certain body organs, sterility, and premature death.

Yet it is apparently OK for humans to eat such food, since already, without adequate testing, GM corn (and other crops) are consumed by nearly everyone on earth.

Because of these concerns, dozens of other countries either reject GM crops entirely or are very cautiously investigating them. This makes it very difficult for the U.S. to export farm commodities, resulting in millions of dollars of lost sales.

Go lookup non-GMO corn and ask yourself if you would by that over the GMO corn.

So true and people are getting sicker and sicker. Corn has found its way into almost all processed foods and if it were just corn it might not be so bad. However, most of the corn grown today is GMO and if that's not bad enough corn has most recently incorporated the bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis or BT. If you think your corn is safe I urge you to do some research on the subject. BT corn is very dangerous. I suggest you stick with organic corn, that is, if you can find it.

GMO corn also contains lots of dihydrogen monoxide!

Nothing- there is no evidence that GMOS are harmful.

Keep in mind that you eat genetically modified foods all the time. Have you ever eaten corn or tomatoes? They are genetically modified to produce what we recognize as corn and tomatoes today.

What exactly do you think that could be transmitted to you that would be harmful to your health by consuming GMOs? You realize that you do have a digestive system that breaks down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates you ingest, right?

The terrible thing about all plants, however, is that the carbon that makes up all the carbohydrates comes from the dreaded, evil CO2! And................ after you eat them, that evil carbon becomes a part of you!!! So YOU are some form of "zombie CO2 organism" that is made up of that terrible poison- CO2.

This is absolute nonsense.

Libs are concerned about every issue that is a non-issue, while they ignore real problems.

Why not be concerned about-

pesticides in the water

depletion of the nation's aquafers

dead zones in the Gulf and oceans

plastics dumped in the oceans by third world nations

acid rain from high sulpher fuels from third world nations

urban sprawl and elimination of farmland and forests

depletion of the rain forests (much due to raising "alternative fuels")

decline of family units

assault on Christianity

mass migration of illegal immigrants

loss of decent paying jobs due to poor trade policies

decline in the quality of US education

high incidence of children born to unwed mothers

Only eat organic corn and soy if you can't afford to be totally organic. Not many foods that are GMO at this point.

According to the overwhelming consensus in the scientific community, there are no ill effects. Opposing this technology is right up there with opposing vaccines, believing crystals heal and protesting fluoride in drinking water.

GMO is all bad. One of the many reasons why people are unhealthy these days. However, no one that supports this garbage is going to change their mind about it. The mainstream is pro-GMO and they aren't going to criticize it. Too much money.

Fake meat is next. Mainstream will say it is healthy for you too.
