trump stated that you needed to show I.D. in order to buy groceries.

If he represents republicans, than yes, they are in lala land.
Link, please. And yes, if it's about committing fraud via food stamps, etc. I agree with him. It would be nice if you had included the details but I'll wait for your link to be posted.

Here's the quote. trump's off his rocker:

“You know, if you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card, you need ID. You go out and you want to buy anything, you need ID and you need your picture,”

Today it seems that Republicans are on the side of barbarism and Democrats are on the side of civilization.

The Democrats may be stooges of corporate America (just like the Republicans), but at least the Democrats aren’t trying to turn back the clock to the horrors of earlier times.

Bill Maher was right: we don’t actually have a progressive party in America. We have a center-right party (the Democrats) and we have a *crazy* party (the Republicans).

A shining example of FAKE NEWS. People get sucked into the lies passed around on talk radio, but it's not true. Illegals are not eligible for public assistance.

Default Does it seem like a lot of Republicans are out of touch with the real world?

Which "real" world... the one where Trump is President or the one where Hillary is President?

The one where Hillary is honest and Trump sold us out to the Russians.

there are two "real worlds". the east and west coast world and the middle of the country world. having experienced both for equal parts of my life, I can definitively say they are very different "real worlds". I prefer the middle of the country real world.

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on conservatives taking back the Republican Party and throwing out the Trumpistas. Apparently there is no corruption so blatant that it upsets the Republicans in Congress. They are all complicit in raping the country for wealth and power. For some reason, right wing voters love them for it.

It was a statement of what is needed if you buy groceries or other products with a credit card or check by the businesses themselves. He didn't make a law requiring it. WTH?
