It is never going to end. It can't. It got too large to control. We had the opportunity to address that in 2008 but decided not to. We would be a far less divided and secure country today if we had.

Tax cuts -- could they promise of great tax cuts have encouraged folks to make expenditures they didn't immediately have the cash for -- and then the tax cuts really didn't give them the increase they thought and so now they can't make their loan payments?

Oh dear.

What do any of these plans actually do beyond shifting cost/savings from one thing to another so in the end it all washes out? Many people have a few more dollars in their pockets due to the tax plan but guess what the cost of gasoline is up a bit and so are other products.

Trump is trying to MAGA and bringing it back is going to hurt a bit. It is like when you haven't worked out in a while and now you want to get rid of that spare tire and it is going to take some pain to get slim again. America has gotten fat and lazy. Trump wants to get it back to fit and trim.

Now this is funny. Trump's giveaways to rich fat cats are going to make America fit and trim? If Trump wants to make someone fit and trim he should start with his own bloated carcass.

I will never understand the obsession with tax cuts in a nation that loves running up huge bills. The military budget alone should give tax cutters some pause.
It worked in the 80s so it should work now, right?

One of the biggest problems in our country right now is the fact that we haven't moved on from the 1980s.

Ron Paul and his son Rand talk about it often. You remember, the non interventionists.
Doesnt Ron Paul hate the poor and the disabled, and that is why he advocates ending any public support for people who are born disabled or for children involved in car accidents?

In a Ron Paul run country we would not have the huge discrepancy in the haves and have nots. There are things I do not agree with Paul on but his economy would have been far better than either Trump's or Obama's.
