Simple answer is mostly drugs. $400 for Drs and Hosp...$600 for drugs. Check out Multaq and Edarbi and Xarelto. The rest are relatively cheap.
Ah, your drugs were covered by your previous plan. Part D is not the best part of Medicare.
My wife is on more than $20K worth of pills per month, and one big reason why we don't move her from Obamacare to Medicare right now.
I do believe that Part D is going to see big changes for the general good in the coming years.
If you were to experience a freak health crisis (and they do/can happen, no one's invincible), you won't have to worry about suddenly having to cough up tens of thousands of dollars to pay off the high deductible and premiums to cover your medical costs.
It works just like car insurance. It's a very low chance that you'll ever get into accident, but if/when you do, the insurance exists to cover the damage and even help you buy a new car if it's totaled. It also covers you if, heaven forbid, you're at fault in the accident and the other car owner comes after you for reimbursement.

Everyone eventually will get sick and die. Very different than car insurance. Plus lots of people do not have cars. Everyone has a body that will eventually break down. Some sooner, some later.
If we simply implemented the cost controls that would go into place with gov't insurance and mandate that for the private sector we could see the same results without all the gov't overreach. There is no magic wand that allows the gov't do things cheaper or better than the private sector. If you look at how the gov't runs things its never better than the private sector at anything. But socialists dream of the gov't controlling all aspects of life so that is not good enough. Its just part of the slow march to a socialist America that they all dream of.

I have a Qualified Health Plan with an Advanced Premium Tax Credit of $369/month, and the only reason I was allowed to enroll now, outside of Open Enrollment, is because I lost my old employer-sponsored plan less than 60 days ago.

If you have a Bronze plan, that includes catastrophic coverage. No yearly or lifetime limits.

This is not true. The private sector is interested in MAXIMUM profits. Are you really that uninformed? Your talking point is foolish.
