What an absolutely inane and vacuous comment that has nothing to do with the issue at hand.

That's really what this thread is all about !!!
People aren't listening to what was said but they are hearing what they want to hear.

Gotta say it's a little entertaining seeing the faux outrage of the left. Trump says he'll do exactly what Hillary did in 2016, when she actually PAID a foreign operative to do exactly the same thing. When Hillary did this, there was no outrage from the left, no constant media attacks, no criminal investigation. When Trump says he'd accept the same info if someone came to him with it-screeching and whining from the left is deafening. The lack of standards and hypocrisy of the anti-Trump crowd is at least good for a laugh.

Two very different situations...

No one came to the DNC and Hillary campaign promising "dirt" on Trump.

The DNC and Hillary campaign hired Fusion GPS through Perkins-Coie in order to hide their involvement.

Fusion GPS Hired Christopher Steele who, in turn, contracted with Russian intelligence.

The dossier they produced was used to gain several FISA warrants that were used to spy on the opposing party's campaign during a presidential election.

Fusion GPS also sent Natalia Veselnitskaya to Trump Tower with the promise of "dirt" on Hillary but instead offered Don Jr. an implied quid pro quo, but he didn't take the bait.

None of this worried anyone involved at the time they were doing it because Hillary was a shoe-in and the origins of the dossier and subsequent spying were never going to be exposed or investigated under President Hillary.

Then Trump won.

The sense of panic experienced by those involved must have been incredible!

The same senior FBI and DOJ officials that deliberately mishandled the Hillary investigation as part of a conspiracy to obstruct justice for the benefit of the person they assumed would be their new boss, now had to double-back and create a sham investigation into Trump's make-believe involvement with Russia in order to provide an excuse for their actions.

FTR, I watched the interview and he did not say he would do the same thing.

Repeating someone else's lie doesn't make the lie any less a lie.

It just makes you a less-than-original liar.

You also won't change the mind of anyone that listens to what Trump actually said.

Is that why the DNC and Hillary campaign had Perkins-Coie, through Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele, pay for Russian propaganda?

President Donald Trump may not alert the FBI if foreign governments offered damaging information against his 2020 rivals during the upcoming presidential race, he said, despite the deluge of investigations stemming from his campaign's interactions with Russians during the 2016 campaign.

Asked by ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos in the Oval Office on Wednesday whether his campaign would accept such information from foreigners -- such as China or Russia -- or hand it over the FBI, Trump said, "I think maybe you do both."

I saw the interview - the quote you posted yourself says he would both listen and report to the FBI.
Does anyone really believe that a candidate would NOT listen to a person who had information on their opponent? Of course they would - did Hillary Clinton HIRE Foreign actors to do a report on Trump?
We know she did and how much she paid them - did she report that to the FBI? NOPE
We KNOW that the DNC was working with the English, Australians, Ukrainians and others and yet -- that's appears to be OK. Apparently it was "to hard" for the DNC to alert the FBI about her paid for Foreign actors and their information which appears to have been orchestrated by members from the US State Department that she was previously in charge of.

This is silly.

This guy has been a traitor from the start. This news is not at all surprising, and right wingers willingness to go along with a president who trust Vladamir Putin over American intelligence is all you need to know about how unpatriotic they are.
