Horrible news. We should never let radical woke ideologues get their grubby paws on our Constitution. They will consume it, corrupt it and excrete it as something barely recognizable from the original. Designed not to protect liberty from the vagaries of the state but rather to protect the state from the liberty of its citizens.

Yes. Half the country despises the other half.
Problem being there is that half that is willing to use any means necessary to force the submission of the other half.
If anyone is uncertain they can look to the covid response to see which half is which.

Your proposals have a zero-percent chance of success. The only positive outcome of a constitutional convention is that it might hasten the dissolution of the United States.

If...and its a big if .... there were a civil war ... there would be three sides ... the far left, the far right ... and everyone else that includes the federal government with all its resources. Everyone else wins hands down.

Good luck with that.
Even among those 27, several came in bunches. Bill of Rights, 13-15, the 21st to appeal a previous one, etc

Can we get to 34 states? Imposing term limits, limiting the ability of the federal reserve to do QE infinity, along with limiting the ability of the federal government to meddle in state affairs are three of the most important issues besides the unchecked flying in of immigrants and the cradle to grave welfare state. What thinks you? Is this something that would blow up in our faces if we tried it?
Our "government" is out of control and serves the politicians, not the people.

We, the people, need such a convention to restore control to the people and force these crooks to serve the people, not enslave them and become rich.

Do you think that what you want is good for America? Or just for you?

If Americaâ„¢ has problems, why would it requirement an amendment to fix them?

I wish they'd change the constitution so that it would be far easier for a state to secede from the Union! Majority vote in that particular state!

That would be my biggest concern at the moment, as virtually every Big Tech and MSM outlet is under the control of the leftists. So is Hollywood.
Their influence would be so great, many of the things you would hope to accomplish would be framed as evil white people trying to be racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.

Then we might get the leftists to influence the masses to get rid of the Electoral Collège in favor of the mythical "popular vote".
That would take away the vote of most of America, in favor of a dozen of the most populace urban hellholes, deciding who the potus would be.

It's a way to get rid of the second amendment. My college professors wanted this and they talked about the second amendment and that it was outdated and "we don't need guns anymore."
