Very true, but they made their bed, so they deserve what is coming. More taxes, higher costs for EVERYTHING, higher energy costs, fewer jobs, more nanny state regulations, less prosperity. Ultimately it all means lower standard of living and quality of life, but that has been the trend in New York for decades.

I hear ya. I still feel bad for the more rural New Yorkers who don't want any part of this and are just trying to get by.

Whether a country is a republic or not has nothing to do with whether it is a democracy or not.

The fact that you actually try to defend the ruling class by advocating against democracy is rare honesty among people on the right. But you are right on one thing. The ruling elite has absolutely no interest in democracy or support for labor unions and will fight and undermine it every step of the way.

Agreed. Up state NY hates a lot of what the NYC metro area has forced upon them and many have moved, or going to move. But, the moonbats want to abolish the EC so that NYC can make all states like NY. Insane.
