Actually, the baseball bat incident happened while the white supremacist was accelerating into the crowd. I think he was trying to stop him or wake him up.

The real question here is, what kind of person defends and makes excuses someone who deliberately drove his car into a crowd of people with the intent to cause harm? Answer: An unabashed supporter of these "very fine people."

Well, this video adds the footage where Dwayne Dixon was standing in a truck-bed with his handy-dandy "assault" rifle tell everyone to obstruct traffic.
I know I've seen more complete versions where he pretty clearly says, "Get in front of traffic and get ready to get hit." It was in fact Dwayne Dixon who claimed to have chased James Fields into his care while brandishing his rifle. Between telling people, "Now everybody, go get hit by a car!" and chasing somebody with a rifle, I should think he should at least be investigated and probably charged with a crime. I'm mostly just curious if that ever actually happened.
