The Dems Hate Trump for proudly standing up for America and making it strong.

As others have pointed out, where were the Dems and their feigned outrage when Obama was bombing everywhere, starting new wars and giving rise to isis?
We know where they were before he did all that !!! Asking him about enchantment !!! He must have known then that nothing he would do would get push back by the liberal press !!! He was right about that !!! They ran cover for him and those that didn't were pursued by the IRS and other corrupt agencies in his admin.

The AUMF has been abused by Republican and Democrat administrations alike. It is time to revoke that Constitutionally-reprehensible piece of legislation once and for all. It would be nice if Congress would revoke the Patriot Act too as part of a revocation package deal.

If Congress had asserted its constitutional authority and not abrogated to the executive, we might have avoided at least half of all the wars of choice not to mention bombing and murdering thousands around the globe over the past few decades.

Just because he doesn't want to start a war doesn't mean that he can't, this could have easily escalated. Its not about a democrat or a republican, the war powers act has been abused by every president since WW2 which is the last time congress declared war. I didn't care much for Obama's decision to bomb Libya and I put this in the same boat. If you are satisfied with the explanation that this was necessary then you don't need facts.

Some dark spots in our history, boy is that an understatement.

BINGO! We have a winner ladies and gentlemen.

NOW what say you about the influence your huge military industrial complex has on lobbying those same congressmen making them all millionaires while sitting on their arses safe and sound taking, and being subjected to no more risk than a random paper cut.

So.... do Democrats and the left really give a crap, or is this just another hypocritical partisan flip-flop, by the TDS afflicted?
I didn't love it when Obama did it, and I don't like it when Trump did it.

The Constitution gives the power to declare war solely to Congress.

When was the last time we declared war? 1941. Since then, Presidents have gotten around this inconvenient Constitution thing by ordering military action without declaration of war. The peak of this came during the Vietnam war, which spurred Congress to pass the War Powers Act in 1973. But many presidents since then have exceeded their authority; I think Congress needs to re-assert its Constitutional powers.

Congress declares war, they don't make war, the President does.

Does Congress ever decide among the 535 elected representatives who make up Congress, to pick out a terrorist they want to kill, and order the president to do it? Do they have a deck of cards with terrorist faces on them, like Obama had?

Obama decided on his own to attack Libya, even though that country had not harmed or threatened any American citizens. Does Congress ever do that?? Have they ever decided among themselves to start a war, vote on it, and then order the president to just start bombing them?

You are not "the Democrats." Those people would be your elected leaders in Congress and in our government. And they were fine with Obama going rogue on Gaddafi.

Funny how starting an all out war against a nation like Libya, to kill their President, is fine with "the Democrats;" they applauded Obama for it. However, Trump taking out one known terrorist with one missile strike is something for the dems to get spittle-flecked enraged over?
