So now your posts are so devoid of intelligent political debate that you’re counting flags?

Flags shouldn't be counted unless the lack of same was a deliberate "signal" to the Democratic base...many of whom actively take the position that the American flag is a symbol of oppression and exclusion.

So, I'll reserve ruling on whether or not to be "offended" by the conspicuous lack of American flags in the Democratic debates for President of the United States of America once someone can confirm why, in fact, there WERE NO FLAGS.

Perhaps it was a simple omission. But probably not. Red meat and symbolism for a leftist base that is rapidly detaching itself from the priorities and perspectives of mainstream America.

With all due respect you do not speak for ALL the citizens who have a differing political view from what is clearly yours. This opinion is very narrow minded and fact free! Democrats love the flag as much as Republicans!

It's not Trump's America or Trump's flag or the Republicans' brand. Our flag is our most enduring symbol.
Our = Americans.

Americans of every party, every background, every faith pledge allegiance under The Stars and Stripes.

The co opting of the symbol of our country's freedom, democracy and unity to promote suppression and unfairness and to sow discord and champion division is reprehensible. It is un American!

To those who are doing this I say: Shame! Shame! Shame!

Buh buh buh but OBAMA! Man, you guys have sunk so low that that is literally the only thing you’re capable of posting. You know how bad it is when the only retort a trump supporter can come up with is, “but OBAMA! But HILLARY!”

Well, me, for one.

I take it you didn't watch the Democratic debates last week. Because if you had, you would have noticed the giant flag-themed background on the stage, as well as the red, white and blue overall color scheme. The Democrats one big flag was bigger than all the flags put together in Trump's photo op.

I guess to your way of thinking that means the Democrats win.

(Yeah, you really do sound that ridiculous.)

The American flag has become a symbol of the Republican Party.

Think about it, whenever you see a home or vehicle with a flag or flag graphic, you automatically assume it is owned by a Republican.

Therefore, I would not expect to see much of the flag at any Democrat function.
