Because he saw fit to comment publicly.

It predates Reagan, and it's kinda dumb on top of that.

The problem is that conservatives love America like a six-year-old loves Mummy - unreservedly, because Mummy can do no wrong, and anyone criticizing Mummy is a meanie.

Progressives tend to love their country in a more adult manner - they can see flaws, and they will try to guide their loved one away from destructive behaviors, including self-destructive ones.
Look at you. Pretending, from your High Horse, that you even know what facts are. Your facade is transparent and very very thin.

As far as more-adult, yes, like Lenin or Hitler or Pol Pot or Idi Amin. That's your idea of loving your country in a more-mature manner.

I gotta tell you, bub, you aren't fooling ANYONE.

There isn't enough inside the hearts, minds and souls of the entire progressive movement to fill a throw-pillow.

The only 2 people of color in the GOP Congress agree that Trump's comments were racist. The only people saying it's not racist are the people unaffected by the racist comments.

Ten years ago Trump as president would have been seen as a joke. Sadly, it's a nightmare that has become a reality.

Trump was pushing a different agenda all those years ago. It was when he decided to speak to the most base of the base was when his rhetoric changed.

His agenda hasn't changed. Back the he wasn't happy with the direction we were headed in. Didn't like the trade agreements, didn't like jobs going overseas. The only thing new is the border stuff, and I'm fine by it. Get the illegals out of here, and come down hard on those either private or corporate that hire them.

Not sure why people are all upset over these comments. Remember he said he could shoot somebody in the middle of 5th Ave and still not lose votes.

Default Trump: "Go back to the countries with broken, corrupt govts, fix them, then come back and show us how you did it"

Once again the usual Democrats are up to their usual tactics, misquoting the President, concentrating on minor quibbles, ignoring the important parts, twisting what he said into something else, and the bashing him for that instead of the main point he was making.

These people need some new tactics. These haven't worked for them for a long time. And the more they try it, the more people learn to ignore them, and the farther behind they fall.

It's instructive to look at what the President DID say... all of it, for a change.

On July 14, 2019, President Trump said in a series of tweets:

So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......
....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....
....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough.

Obviously, he wasn't kicking them out of the country, or even implying it, contrary to what the Dem fanatics are now frantically screaming.

He was saying that, if they wanted to tell the rest of us how to "fix" the United States' problems, they should first go to the corrupt, failing countries they favor, fix the far more severe problems there, and then come back to the US and tell us how they did it.

He was implying, obviously, that these congressmen couldn't tell a severe problem if it bit them, much less have any idea how to fix it. And he was suggesting that they get some experience in solving ACTUAL severe problems, before telling others how to do it.

The congressmen, of course, absolutely do not want to discuss any of that. So they are seizing on his mistake where he said "who originally came from countries...", as though that were the most important thing he said.

They clearly want to divert the discussion from the most important points: That they have little or no idea what they are talking about and merely want to run down the United States, while offering no solutions and being unwilling to even try. Instead, they keep screaming and whining that he wants to throw them out, wants to throw colored people out, etc. etc..... none of which he ever said or even implied.

But it beats talking about what he did say.... and the fact that they cannot reply to it.

It's a standard Democrat-fanatic technique to ignore most of what someone says, pick out an unimportant quibble, and concentrate all their attention and vitriol on that, trying to put people on the defensive over minor matters so they won't talk about the main points that are actually important.

And they are doing it more and more, as they continue to lose their voter base and Trump moves closer to re-election despite their loudest and most hysterical efforts.

Source?

This is not a campaign, and these are not his opponents.

Pathetically weak analogy.

People in rural America have stated that they are bitter AND they are afraid of losing their guns AND they are afraid of the country moving in a secular direction.

As for the "high horse" comment, can you provide a source?

Lol! Did he just try to compare "get off your high horse" with "go back to where you came from?"

Got news for you:

The entire world was built on slavery.

People of all races and colors have been slaves and slave owners at some point in history.

But hey....we understand that Democrats have a vested interest in ignoring that fact and acting like the last 200 years or so of America's history is the only thing that matters.

If he said "because you are this race, go back to where you came from", I would see that as racist. What he said was insensitive but I see it as racist.

In addition to his Art of the Deal book series, I guess you never saw all those videos of him in the past thirty years saying the same things he says now. He is amazingly consistent and has been doing the things he said needed to be done back then. The only difference now is left wing mockingbird propaganda spinning and twisting everything.

Think for yourself! Why have half a million Dems joined WalkAway? They realized the media was lying to them.

Yes, he had gave a teen girl a second chance after having walked around their dressing room with all those beautiful naked bodies just because he could get away with it.

That was it.
