This is a very unfair and malicious campaign talking point. Is this the one Trump is going with? I know he's tried quite a few slanderous and abusive labels and I was wondering which one would stick with his rally mobs. Especially since the world condemned the racially charged slurs he launched and repetitively used until he said he didn't and blamed it on his voters; of course before he reversed himself again and doubled down. So much time and energy wasted on getting the followers to focus on these 4 US citizens and duly elected congresswomen. Baffling as they certainly are not his opponent. Its just a real black eye to the entire GOP.
As he punches down like this I guess he's trying to look tough by attacking 4 freshmen congresswomen and their individual 4 voices from their respective districts, before he actually has to defend himself and his administration's policies against a real opponent in the 2020 election.
Getting a head start on childish and divisive name calling gives his supporters something to feel strong about, I imagine, as if that is something meaningful, but those who understand basic civics and how the government works are disgusted and have grown weary.
Those citizens who respect the job of the House recognize the reps speak only for their constituents and they rightly perceive the sparking of discourse and debate as a part of Congress' role. I thought Trump as President would have more to go on this time around as opposed to his usual tiresome, poisonous, mindless and scurrilous practice. But if that is all you have, that is all you have, I guess. Shame he's learned nothing of use for the USA.
