He earned over $1 million last year because he wrote a book.
He has nothing against Capitalism.. he is against large corporations using their political power, to diminish the working class power.

His "Fortune" is $3 million, including their value of a Vermont house, DC House/apartment, and cabin they bought for money they got when his wife inherited and sold her parents old cabin and upgraded to a more fitting cabin to their larger family needs.

He is the poorest US Senator...even though he has served in congress and senate since 1991.
Most other seem to be able to amass huge sums during their tenure... *cough* bribes *cough*

He combined their honeymoon with a diplomatic journey to their sister city in the USSR in 1988 with 12+ other people.

When he was in University, he was working against segregation got jailed and walked several times with Martin Luther King.

He has been traveling across the country when there are large demonstration or strikes to get better working conditions and salary for decades now.

His largest donor base, is Teachers followed by Amazon and Walmart workers.

He has been against I believe every single Free trade deal proposed the last 30 years, because it has always put Americans workers at a disadvantage.

He is against open borders, since it puts American workers at a disadvantage and lowers the overall income of American workers.

Here is a great interview he did very recently with the Washington Post.. the same that wrote the article.
And he takes a jab at Bezos 3-4 times.

And he is Jewish.. so atleast he won't be called an anti-semite.

Bernie Sanders is the poorest man in the Senate and could have sold out to Wall Street like the rest of the corrupt ones a long time ago. Instead he advocates higher taxes on himself and fights non-stop to establish a proper public safety net for the 99%.
" could have sold out to Wall Street"

He HAS taken Wall St PAC money!

It’s true Sanders pays his interns $12 an hour, as noted by a page on the candidate’s own Senate web site that clearly states that “interns are paid $12 per hour.” This, however, does not necessarily mean that Sanders gave himself a “pass” on his proposal to raise the minimum wage.

However,

First, the above-displayed meme uses the confusing term “staff interns,” which has led many people to believe that the senator only pays his staff members $12 per hour. This pay rate, however, applies only interns (who in many occupational fields work without compensation or for very low pay in return for gaining valuable experience) filling positions available to college students and recent graduates seeking work in Congress:

Second, the national minimum wage does not apply to internships. The Fair Labor Standards Act lists six criteria (such as “the internship experience is for the benefit of the intern”) that private sector companies may meet in order to offer unpaid internships, and Congress has further exempted itself from some of these standards. According to an article published in the Atlantic, only one third of U.S. senators paid their interns anything at all in 2013.

It should also be noted that these $12 per hour internships are for positions working as aides to Sanders in the U.S. Senate, not for positions on his 2016 presidential campaign staff.

Can we get back to the REAL hypocrite Trump who tells us to buy American. , who buys crap from China?

I'd BET YOU have bought a LOT of stuff from China, so that makes YOU a hypocrite!

I am happy that you and conservatives are realizing that the minimum wage should start at $15/hr.

Welcome aboard!

Bernard "3-homes" Sanders owns 3 homes. Have him sell one of those multiple properties and pay his staff $15 an hour. Sanders is just another hack hypocritical politician that follows the mantra, "do as I say, not as I do."

The fact that Bernie is willing to go to jail for his beliefs says a lot. I don’t know of any other politician willing to do that. 99.9% of those in office are just talk.
