Japan is a homogenous, strict culture that operates like a police state. Their suicide rate is higher than the U.S. Horrible analogy, intended to deceive, but didn't expect honesty from you.
In Japan you are considered GUILTY if the police arrest you.
Really? I don't want anyone who beats a spouse to have access to a gun. Ever. I'm a gun owner, and have taught firearm safety. That type of person is exactly what a Red Flag law should include.
So it's OK to leave a battered spouse to be beaten but not shot? Why not remove a violent person from society?
The guy who killed his sister and 8 other people was a leftist creep with a totally warped mind. He was beyond help and is in a much better place now that he's dead. His father should have drowned him in the toilet when he was born.
There, I'm a leftist...……...do you feel better now?
Does it change anything about El Paso?
"There, I'm a leftist...……...do you feel better now?"
Despite the snarky question, why did it take me to bring it up BEFORE you talk about it?
Simple. Get rid of your guns. They serve no real purpose except for increasing the existential threat to all. The timelines for Dayton and Gilroy illustrate this perfectly.
If you can’t acknowledge that these cases bust a huge hole in the good guy with a gun myth then you are probably addicted to your guns and arguing with you is the same as arguing with a drug addict.
"Simple. Get rid of your guns"
Do you REALLY think all the bad guys will?
"If you can’t acknowledge that these cases bust a huge hole in the good guy with a gun myth"
If you can’t acknowledge that these cases bust a huge hole in YOUR "the good guy "with a gun" myth"!
There needs to be an overwatch on any huge gathering like that. Swat style.
Not unarmed security with a T shirt that says "security".
Yeah I know NFL and I think MLB are getting this way. Some concerts too, but it depends on venue protocol. As someone that works security, this is vital. That said the gun free zone for venues that have officers works because there aren't really good areas to act like that. Vegas didn't even think of that for whatever reason.

Research Australia's laws, and what New Zealand did after their mass shooting. It goes beyond empty thoughts and prayers.
I think common sense gun laws are in order and more cops or armed security. Britain don't have shootings and police don't even carry. They have a few knife attacks but a mass knifing is never really talked about now is it?
Don't give the Bolsheviks (democrats/liberals) an inch.
Maybe the Bill Of Rights belongs to all Americans and it's not just yours to give or take.
