We should ban assault knives first, and require universal background checks on the government-approved knives. After that stepping stone, then we can ban all knives.
We should ban all knives. Not even plastic ones are allowed because they destroy the environment!!!
We must manufacture paper knives for all citizens ASAP. Illegals may still use the assault knives that they will buy and sell on the black market as they can't be held accountable anyway.
That will also SAVE the COWS (can't cut steak with paper knives after all) and further protect the environment from cow farts (well, only if we do away with cows)

Garden Grove PD posted a very detailed timeline report on their facebook page.
The killer murdered & injured his first 5 victims with a knife. He killed his final victim, an armed security guard for 7/11, and took his gun before Garden Grove PD undercover cops took him into custody outside 7/11.
The killer never had a chance to use the deceased guard's firearm.
