New York has already made ceramic knives illegal and any knife with a blade over 4 inches.
I can remember my mother used a ceramic knife in the kitchen.
And really, how many inches of blade does one need ?
Sounds like he was here illegally. He stole one of his victim's SS card and a Green Card.
Probably just another one of those hard working “dreamers” from Mexico or Central America brought here as a child by their parents and here illegally by no fault their own.
As for certain knives and offensive weapons it already is illegal to carry them in public in many countries.
Knives are different from guns, as firstly they can not be used from a distance, and do not kill multiple people quickly, when compared to centrefire semi-automatic weapons, which are the weapons most countries have legislated aganst.
