This is simple retaliation by Trump. McCabe went back and corrected his statement. Trump lies on an hourly basis and refuses to testify under oath. Hopefully, Trump will be indicted after he leaves office.

A US Attorney is recommending charges against Andrew McCabe. This decision was apparently appealed within the Justice Department (I did not think that an ordinary person could do that) and the request was denied.
The charges are related to misleading statements made during the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
It is about time.

McCabe has a $500k gofundme account for his legal defense, any DC area jury would be reluctant to return a guilty verdict, and even if he was found guilty, he won't get any jail time.

Why do you think he would not take a plea deal? This guy does not want to go to jail if he does not have to. Or if he does go, he does not want to go for any longer than he has to.
The ultimate goal is getting Comey behind bars where he belongs so make deals/pleas along the way. Whatever it takes.
