Yup - if you don't think Trump isn't aware of how lowering the rate will benefit his personal company......you are all naive.

While Trump isn't sitting at the desk, the company is still earning money for HIM...he's the sole owner of the corporation.

Much talk of a pending recession - -not because of Trump policy necessarily because of historical evidence...the economic cycle.

Lowering rates will remove any strategy the govt. has to 'stimulate' the economy in a recession.

Trump may be grasping at straws.

He promised a surging GDP and it hasn't happened, in spite of a steady economy that adds jobs monthly. He promised it would be different. It hasn't been.

So we have the lowest unemployment rate in years, lowest interest rate in years and still this President is trying to figure out how to get to his promised GDP growth.
