Deficit spending is unethical as it robs money from our grandkids. Taxes need to match the expenditures. But where is the money going to come from? The bottom 80% own 7% of the nations wealth. Ergo, most of the tax income needs to come from the top 20%.

you mention two different things...income -vs- wealth
you cant have a wealth tax... what is wealth ..accumulated assets
so you are going to tax (additional ) on someones house?? annually?? that will cause a housing bust big time
...what is the value of a painting by Picasso ...how do you tax that, how does someone get to take a percentage of the painting...will the government tear it up into little pieces??
even taxing income is not accurate, since a good portion of income is never reported
tax spending...a federal consumption tax INPLACE/INSTEAD of income/corporate/estate/sin taxes

Trim government down to what it does well and should only do:
National security
Roads & basic shared infrastructure
Police/fire
Sound currency
Courts
Get rid of the rest and government could be funded with tiny taxes. The private sector performs all other functions far better.
