Forget the “political adversary” angle, unless you are trying to say that he shouldn't investigate obvious corruption BECAUSE it is a political adversary. The fact that he is a political adversary, somehow exempts him from investigations?
He shouldn't ask foreign governments to investigate political adversaries.

I just read the 5 page transcript, doesn’t look good for the Dems. You have to wonder if Trump set a trap at this point. Nothing about withholding money, nothing about forcing to fire the ambassador (Trump told him she was a bad ambassador). There is simply nothing close to worthy of impeachment in that transcript.
Hillary had a foreign government , Russia to write a dossier that was unverified and was used to spy on Trump and his people.. your small potatoes are not worth mentioning since Biden talked about his corrupt dealings with getting a prosecutor fired .

I'd love to see the reaction to this had a sitting Dem president done this over a Republican political opponent.. This isn't about something like terrorism or security keep in mind.. The spinning is sad here
Most who think this is an impeachable offense would be saying it was justified because the person being looked into is corrupt. And most of those who think it is justified now would be saying it was a president abusing his/her power. That is how politics goes.
So someone who breaks the law should be exempt from criminal investigation because they run for President or any other office ?
You did see Biden bragging about getting the DA fired and withholding the money ?
You really don't understand why it is dangerous to our democracy to have a foreign government investigate our candidates for office?
Shouldn't our country do its own investigation rather than relying on outsourcing to countries that might not have our best interest in mind?
