I carry a knife everywhere but places that I can't like a ball game or fair. It's clipped to my pocket. I've carried one since a kid. So yes, regardless of age and situation it's legal. I've never had a cop ask me about it and there were plenty of times they could have.
It's legal.
I didn't ask whether it's legal.
I asked whether anyone at any time, regardless of age, situation or purpose should be allowed to carry a knife.
So in your opinion, people should be allowed to bring, let's say a 12 inch combat knife to a ball game?
You'd be good with that?

Right. Well that's exactly the way it is in the UK.
So there's no argument here.

You can kill someone with a three inch pocket knife, screwdriver, hammer, baseball bat, etc. It's not the implement its the PERSON. Why are you people so fixated on the tool? It's weird.

Who is 'you people'? Please talk to me directly. I don't represent anyone else.
You quoted me but didn't answer the question.
Would it be okay with you if everyone to turned up to a ball game with 12 inch combat knives?
Yes or no?
It's a simple question.
You can't purchase alcohol in the US until you're 21.
What's your point?
You did not carry a pocket knife as a boy? Never a Boy Scout?
