That's a nonsensical statement. No one HAS to critique anything. We do it or don't do it of our own free will.

But if you insist -

Many black churches, like many white churches, speak in tongues and writhe on the floor and pay for the mansions and limos of fat cat preachers. I think that's well, um, weird. But they're free to do it.

As for Islam, it parallels Christianity, sharing the same basic books derived from the Jews that both Muslims and Christians have persecuted throughout history, as well as sharing a special reverence for a Jewish personage named Jesus, who may or may not be based on a real person, but who is not particularly revered by Jews. Go figure.

These books from the Bronze Age are extremely interesting to historians and anthropologists for the light they shed on how people lived and structured their societies early in written history. Today, many/most members of each of those three religions take those books as allegories/inspiration that are foundational to contemporary religious beliefs. Again, weird, but they're free to do it.

Some of the members of each of these three religions still take those books as the literal truth, though, and that can take some of them over the line from being ordinarily weird to actively murderous, instigating individual crimes, trying to take over governments, and even urging total war, which they fervently desire to happen during their lifetimes. This isn't weird - it's flat out insane. The sooner they just stop already, the safer the world will be.

That is a very accurate description in just a few words. It must be a sad life for him to have achieved nothing beyond that.

Raise my hand. I’m an atheist & I think ALL religion is a scam.

Mr. Barr if you want to see American Decay of Judeo-Christian beliefs just look down the hall.
This. All he is doing is decrying people's right to hate and discriminate. A hundred years ago he'd be arguing about how his freedoms to lynch was being assaulted.

I won't be surprised if Barr is indicted and sent to prison in the next year.

You're OK with taking "baby parts?" What does that even mean? Stem cell research is great. Not sure why anyone would be against it. Shrug...

It’s just fundamentalist Christian hyperbole describing abortion.
