What an idiot Trump is proving himself to be. Thanks to the internationally approved deal worked out by the Obama administration, Iran had stopped it's nuclear enrichment process. Now that Trump violated that agreement - apparently just to undo anything Obama was involved with - Iran is now once again moving forward down the road to nuclear weapons (along with actively threatening the critical oil route through the Persian Gulf). Once again, Trump screws up every single thing he touches:

"Iran has called Trump's bluff

While Washington is increasingly consumed with the impeachment drama, the globe has not stopped spinning and dangerous regimes have not stopped making menacing moves. The latest news comes from Iran, where the regime has just announced it is injecting uranium into centrifuges spinning in a nuclear facility deep inside a mountain in Fordow, raising questions about Iran's intentions to build a nuclear weapon. Since President Donald Trump announced in May 2018 that the US was withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran has strayed further from the 2015 accord, which was also joined by China, France, Germany, Russia, Britain and the EU. Under the JCPOA, also known as the Iran nuclear deal, Tehran agreed to limiting its uranium enrichment efforts and accepted monitoring from international inspectors in exchange for the lifting of economic sanctions.
Iran's latest provocation is further evidence that Trump's policy on Iran is turning into a disaster..."

Dear god. You honestly believe that that had stopped?

Really?

Because that's what your college professor and the folks at CNN said?

Iran has now decided to block any inspections of it's facilities. The spokesman for the Iranian parliament’s national security committee, Hossein Naghavi-Hosseini, said: “When the other party doesn’t fulfill it's commitments, there is no necessity for us to meet our part of commitments."

No one trusts Iran and their big daddy Putin for a minute, but at least under the former agreement we had some level of inspections. Now we have ZERO visibility into Iran's operations. Just stupid.

Trump's decisions have everything to do with his populist politics and nothing to do with our national security. They have direct and dangerous consequences.

Unfortunately what they say goes now, and we’re all going to have to suffer.

The Iranians know that there’s nothing we can do, and that Trump is far too embroiled in scandal to come up with any possible plan to counter them. Plus he’s too wounded politically to rally any possible international support for any action against Iran.

It is humorous that liberals apparently seem to believe what they write (I actually think they don't really believe what they say 90% of the time).

Iran has endeavored to build a nuclear bomb for decades and have never stopped or slowed in their efforts.

Bravo for Iran! Who on earth makes the decision that a just select number of countries can have nukes, and not others! And how on earth did they allow Muslim Pakistan to have them? If any country should have them it should be Vietnam!

What they worry about is a particular country getting an unstable leader, and if I was in a country bordering Israel with it's nukes and storage of chemical weapons, I'd want the same.

The leader of Iran is an excellent card player, just like North Korea's leader.

And really, the ONE nation that SHOULD NOT be permitted to EVER have them is the US...since we are the only nation to ever use them against an enemy, and not only once either!
