After further study it has come to my attention that the OP headline is misleading (absolute lie), and fox news mad much ado of 2 tweets from unknowns, seemingly libs. Really, is this just a comp,ete waste of cyber space? Absolutely.

SMH. It is absolutely silly for anyone to be upset over coffee cups. No one is being stopped from celebrating Christmas. If you need any and everyone around you to adhere to your cultural or religious practices, then your culture or religion is not very deep-rooted. That is a personal problem that only you can rectify.
How can people drink such burnt, dark, hyper expensive coffee is beyond me. There was a podcast thta showed that for the green movement to buy organic coffee from far away South American farmers, the coffee content in some of these unpronounceable named expensive cups was less than 10%. They managed to raise prices while buying and putting less coffee than in the past. Genius at fooling people.
I find McDonald or Dunkins coffee to be much better, fresher and far better priced.
As to the cups, who cares. It is between the shareholders and customers to sort this one out.
It depends on what you order. It you get a specialty drink, yeah, they jack the price up.
If you have a registered Starbucks card (which is free), refills for hot coffee, hot tea, and a few cold beverages are free during the same visit. Additionally, there is a cup discount if you have your own cup.
IME, with McDonalds, it depends on the location, but usually refills are less....but not free. IIRC, refills aren't free at DD either.
The difference is conservatives are NOT trying to BAN and CONFISCATE things they don't like. The Liberal Control Freaks must take away the thing they don't like. Statues of Columbus, and Washington, Murals of the Founding Fathers, religious symbols, Confederate Statues, and anything else in which they get triggered. They can't just not look at that stuff like we just don't go to Starbucks.
My views are all over the political spectrum on various issues, but I think your claim that I bolded is incorrect.
There are plenty of conservatives who would love to make a woman's right to be pro choice a thing of the past.
