Its a legitimate question... What did the Ukraine do in exchange for the aid? You know... like Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion unless the Ukraine fired its prosecutor within 6 hours, so they did.
that's just your liberal's opinion. it is entirely legal for president to investigate biden and any corrupt democrats.
The president can do that, what he can't do is withhold funds allocated by congress to force another country to do it. He can call Barr right now and get an investigation started, I wonder why he hasn't tried that?

You COULD go to jail for conspiracy fact. That is, if the "legal system", (and I use that term with the ultimate magnanimity.), would prosecute. But the legal system is in the left's pocket just as much as the media is.

What makes you think he isn't? Barr doesnt announce everything he does beforehand. We hear about it when it becomes a criminal investigation. For example, the Durham criminal investigation into the deep state and the Dems. Biden might already be part of that investigation as Biden's own braggadocious admission was recently thrust into the public eye.
Then why try to bribe the Ukrainian president? Does he think that Barr is not capable of doing the investigation?
But your scenario isn't anything like what is going on now with the impeachment bs and President Trump.
Here's a scenario that would more fit what is going on right now:
The police get an anonymous tip that you robbed a bank. But no bank is reporting a robbery and no one has witnessed the so-called robbery. But the police go and arrest and put you on trial for bank robbery anyways. If the court doesn't have enough evidence to convict you, everyone screams conspiracy theory.
That scenario is exactly what the demolibs are doing to President Trump now and have been doing from day one, starting right after he won the election.

He didn't. The Ukraine got the aid and did nothing in return for it. Biden, on the other hand, actually did bribe the Ukraine to fire their prosecutor within 6 hours, so they did. He then bragged about it on Video at the CFR.
We already have statements from the two primary participants who have first hand knowledge: Trump and Zelensky. Both say there was no QPQ, no pressure, no extortion, no bribe, and the Ukraine got their aid without doing anything in return for it. There's nothing there. Meanwhile, the Dems continue acting the fools in a very public way.

I would think so.
I suspect he could request that the DOJ, or whatever the appropriate agency would be, to work with their corresponding Ukrainian agency to look into corruption in general.
Trump could probably ask Congress to hold off on authorizing security aid until there was some assurance that it wouldn't be going in the pockets of corrupt officials.
Trump is on shaky grounds just asking the DOJ to investigate a political opponent. That's a level of corruption that nations like Russia are used to, and that Ukraine is trying to get away from.
However, it's not up to us to decide what is or is not impeachable.
That's the process that is underway now in the House.
