There is strong evidence that the Democrats intended to impeach Trump from the time he was inaugurated, if not from the moment he was elected. They just needed to find a pretext for doing it.

This is an impeachment by default.

John Q. Adams was a trainwreck of a president, and even more thin skinned and volatile than his dad or Trump.

Tyler was easily the most obnoxious whoremonger to ever be President (yes, look it up, he was worse than Trump on Trump's worst day on secret mic).

...and no list of people with no business being President would be complete without Wilson, Grant, Jackson, Buchanan and Carter.

I'd venture the guess that on a "prepared for being and fit to be the boss CEO of America" scale, Trump doesn't even make into the bottom half. At least half our Presidents were less fit for the job than Trump. Absolutely.
I can’t agree with the last line but I will agree to the qualifier that Trump is the most unfit in the modern era.

Ah, memories of WW2....like the idyllic memories of putting Japanese Americans into interment camps, the Biscari massacre, countless rapes of German women by US troops, the firebombing of Dresden. Yes, surely people with those fresh memories would be simply aghast because Trump GAVE AID to Ukraine and got exactly nothing in return. Oh, the pearl clutching....
If there had been a few million with your beliefs back in the 1940's we'd be under the boot right now. No doubt whatsoever in my mind that we would have lost the war.

Obviously the Allies were never pure as the driven snow, as if any participant in that horrific war could have been. About 50,000,000 people died in WWII - 3% of the world population. About 150,000 were killed in the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. A horrific but absolutely necessary way to end that conflict.

Watching Trump toady up to the most despicable dictators around the world is sickening to any true patriot.

And I still rank him below Nixon and Obama (Nixon Jr.) in that department. While Trump has absolutely weaponized social media, those two weaponized the entire Executive branch's army of career bureaucrats against their enemies, particularly the FBI and the IRS. Carter and Dubyah were both decently natured rubes in over their heads. GHWB was a CIA careerist who should have never even held the job. And while Reagan and Clinton both made a lot of people feel good about te whole thing, they were both pretty skeevy as well.

The point being, the entire machine is a corrupt slime pit, and nobody in charge of such a twisted, immoral, hellish machine can be seen as fit. As time goes by and the machine gets even more broken, Trump will be seen as a sober statesman compared to what's coming.

"any true patriot?" Lol. Is that like "any true Scotsman?"

The point being, that you reiterated, is that WW2 was horrific. Why would people with fresh memories of something utterly horrific care one bit about a President who DID GIVE AID to an informal ally and got nothing personally, politically valuable in return? The new elected leader of that ally, by the way, has done nothing but sing the praises of the current US president and how stalwart of an ally he has been.

Why would that bother "true patriots?"

Probably was close to 50% the day he was elected.

You are under a boot. You just enjoy it and think everyone else should too.

And what evidence was that? Did you hear about it? I thought it wasn't evidence if people just "heard" something. Was there an impeachment inquiry? Is there any legal basis for your assertion?

To a morally and logically consistent human being that would be...for starters...

Trump's seizure of private property, banning private property (ala two gun control measures), giving kill orders of brown babies in Yemen or Syria or fill-in-the-blank, and his support of red flag laws.

For starters...because I could go all day.

But to the common Red or Blue zombie it only means that this guy is a big meanie. Just like it was for Black Jesus when his genocidal ass was in office.

You see, only one team is good and the other team is bad. Are you on the righteous path?
