FDR - New Deal and WWII
JFK - Cuban missile crisis
Nixon - Many accomplishments, but his name will forever be associated with Watergate
Clinton - Very successful president, but will always be associated with Monica Lewinsky
GW Bush - 911 and Iraq War
Trump will be known for his, ahem, unique personality and for being impeached. He has no outstanding accomplishments to overshadow those. Inheriting a good economy and not screwing it up are not enough to be remembered by.

Says the poster who claims the things happening in America today are comparable to the 1979 revolution in Iran, when a strict Islamic based legal system was established to control the citizens and basic freedoms were thoroughly eliminated. Everything you post is downright wacky. Do you realize internet access is being restricted to the public there, to curb protesting? On what planet do you live on to think Trump is going to restrict the internet for the American public? Is he going to force women to adopt a more conservative dress code where all skin must be covered? What basis or evidence do you have for the wackiness that you expect us to accept as fact?
Trump is setting us up for all of this to actually happen. Yes, that's what I believe. However, I don't believe it will happen on Trump's watch because at his age, even if he was coronated king he wouldn't reign very long. The "true believer" that will follow him, who will rule with zero checks and balances thanks to Trump's destruction of our democratic institutions, will enact those policies.
All of that is contingent on whether or not Trump wins a second term, which I think is more likely than not. We could dodge a bullet if he loses, but then it's a question of whether the red states will accept his loss, legitimate or not, and if Trump himself will actually step down. We are currently in the most dangerous times we've seen in America since around 1860.

I have to laugh at uninformed democrats!
The stock market has been rising and unemployment has been falling for 10 years, the wall is not being built but the deficit sure is setting a record. Sure, no penalty for people that will continue to use hospitals for primary care, I thought he was going to come up with a big, beautiful ACA replacement plan.

Correction. Trump will go down in history the same way Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton did. As presidents who were impeached but managed to avoid conviction, but whose legacy was forever tainted by their misconduct in office.

Really? I remember Obama telling America that are best days are behind us and we should get used to 1% GDP growth. Obama really did nothing but give our taxpayer money to banks, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies and the auto businesses.

Actually, Trump is rated dead last in one poll of scholars and historians and in the bottom 2 or 3 in every other poll. He will likely go down as the worst in History.
Nixon was a saint compared to Trump....and even the other impeached dude was pretty much a one-issue problem (he sorta wanted slavery back...or the like).....
Trump wins all prizes by being totally corrupt from top to bottom in most every department.
If the Republic stands he will be largely forgotten except as an "accident". If it falls he will be noted as the person who poured gas on the fire to finish it.
BTW, for those who don't care about "scholars and historians", they write the books, research the law cases and do most everything else which applies to such ratings. The rabid "people" like me and all of you just die off and our opinions with us.
