The average person sees this as the sham it is. Trump fills venues beyond capacity where ever he goes. His support is more now than it was in 2016. It speaks for itself.

You have time to watch YouTube videos but you don't have time to come up with a cite to that Supreme Court case you claimed held that the House doesn't have subpoena power? GTFO.
That's not how it works, he's not impeached till the articles are delivered to the Senate. All they've done is make the decision to do it. If they never actually do it, then it never happened.
Right now, Pelosi is suggesting she may never impeach Trump because she knows that her ridiculous articles of impeachment will get laughed out of the Senate. That's up to her, but given that she's losing her job as Speaker after the election, she can't wait THAT long.
There is nothing in the Constitution that says the House must "send" anything to the Senate by any means. And the Senate does not follow Jefferson's "rules". The Senate could set a trial date now and proceed.
I wonder how all those Democrats in Trump districts are reacting... If Pelosi never intended to impeach Trump, wouldn't it be better they voted against impeachment and it never getting to the Senate... Oppss

You may be right, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if POTUS goes to the Supremes and demands his right to a speedy trial lol.

Since the trial is designed to take place in the Senate, it would not be the Supreme Court that President Trump would need to apply to for that motion, but to the Senate.
There are a number of ways that Senate Majority Leader McConnell can get this done. But with the Christmas break before us, there is no need for him to do anything before the first week of January, 2020, when everyone returns. That will give him and his team plenty of time to think this through.
The vote means the impeachment process has OFFICIALLY begun. And therefore, he is OFFICIALLY impeached. Whether it moves forward is another matter entirely. But he can't say that it didn't happen, because it has started, it is happening. Even if they decide to drop it tomorrow, he will have been impeached, because the process has become officially active with the vote.
Also Pelosi didn't say she has no intention of sending the articles over to Senate. She said she is waiting until she is sure there will be a fair, unbiased trial. So far McConnell has made it clear he has no intention of giving a fair, unbiased trial. So she'll have to wait until he either changes his mind, or is replaced as the Senate Leader. There's plenty of time, though it'd be ideal if they could get it done sooner rather than later.
They are desperate so they have to keep trying. It's kind of like their "SPYGATE" sham. They will try to validate an illegitimate IMPOTUS for the next 10 months. Folks will show up and show out as they did in 2018 to vote against the IMPOTUS, Individual 1.
