Problem solved.
The other path to oligarchy is lax or no regulation. Funny how that works.

People should not have to decide to buy meds over milk or go crazy paying for epiden at$500 each, and need one at school one at home and one with you at all times. And have to change out as they expire. Just posted most women want to be home to raise their children, but can they afford it / probably not.
I’m glad min wage is up- but how much they jacking up the rest ?

That's actually not true. The average American CEO earns $189,600/year.

Look under the "Summary" subsection.

The 1%er's count on people like you. We all pay more in taxes than Amazon did last year, but do keep carrying Bezos water, he appreciates it.

The trophies were actually for the parents so they don’t get offended that their timmy didn’t get a prize. Meanwhile timmy is embarrassed by his parent’s tantrum. Especially at the restaurant when the server doesn’t smile...

Remember capitalist trade is win-win: every dollar we hand to the evil capitalist, we get back MORE than one dollar worth of goods and services. Nobody would knowingly conduct a trade if he is not getting what his money is worth.
Nothing wrong with concentration of wealth if you are on the list concentrating wealth...sux for everyone else.

I hope for the economy's sake that wealthy people step up their luxury spending as they get richer and richer to counter the bad effects on the economy from the poor getting poorer and poorer.

It's not about the concentration, necessarily, but it certainly cause some consternation when that concentration of wealth equals a far greater access to government to the extent that the power shifts from the people---to some people..

Fairness and Jealousy have nothing to do with it. Wealth and power go hand and hand. A country cannot have an effective and healthy democracy when a few of its citizens have disproportionate amounts of wealth at their disposal, which they can use to mold the government to work in their interest. We have checks and balances in government because we know what happens when one person or group ends up with too much power. Yet we conveniently ignore the dangerous possibilities of what can happen when we have no checks and balances when it comes to concentrations of wealth.

Checks and Balances for power

Checks and Balances for wealth
