I dont know what liberals might do in the future. I do not speak for them, but it was beyond obvious there would be retaliation to the assassination, and there will probably be more.
Ongoing? How many times has the US Embassy been under mortar attack?
How do you know this was "retaliation" versus their regularly scheduled programming?
There will absolutely be more. There was going to be more if we hadn't conducted the strike. That is the reason we conducted the strike in the first place.
Yes, ongoing. We aren't discussing a single target. Andthe embassy was attacked prior to taking out the general.
The expected response has taken place. Unfortunately this is only the beginning.
Is this what the assassination was supposed to prevent? How Trump thought that killing the general would prevent anything is beyond me. It was obvious it would do the opposite: escalate attacks against Americans.
Missiles hit Green Zone and Iraq base housing US troops: security sources
The US embassy in Baghdad as well as the 5,200 American troops stationed across the country have faced a spate of rocket attacks in recent months that Washington has blamed on Iran and its allies in Iraq.
Again, who told you the US Embassy has been burned down? Even you own link says only a guard shack on the outer perimeter was damaged by fire. The Embassy was not harmed, and neither were anyone in there.
Oh so now you're splitting hairs over what is the embassy versus the embassy compound?
Fire also damaged a reception room and an entrance.
Oh I see. This must have been the attack Trump prevented
Probably why this attack injured a car and a sidewalk instead of a dozen troops.
