I was looking at a job announcement yesterday, located in Bahrain. We've had a base there since the 40s. There's strategy involved. The importance of which is probably lost on the libs.
Good to know. Only liberals in the USA and the rest of the world just don't get it when the USA assassinates a General from Iran in peace time.
The term "terrorist" is in question. The man was an Iranian General. His country is in an uproar that he was assassinated by the USA.
Yes, the USA assassinated the General of Iran. If a General has violated law, why wasn't he brought to trial through the many options available to the USA? There is no war between Iran and the USA, so it's not an option to simply kill a military person from another country such as Iran.
I will go further; why did Iraq not arrest him? Or even allow him in the country? Iraq actually supports this guy and provided political and material support to him and numerous groups under his control.
So, is the US going to sanction and/or conduct airstrikes on Iraq and Iraqi officials for supporting terrorism?

There is no war between Iran and the USA. Iran has had a proxy war in Yemen for at least a decade.
If the USA had an issue with the Iranian General, the USA (Trump) had the responsibility to apply law, not murder.
Maybe Iran can't do anything against the USA, but maybe the Middle East can align with Russia rather than the USA. What then?

It's a sad world, isn't it, when violence against the US should go unpunished?
I love an earlier post that asks "would I be willing to lose a son or daughter...". Why not ask "Would you be willing to die for your country?" Stop armchair quarterbacking military leaders. Let terrorists continue to gain power and 9-11 will seem like a picnic at best and the US will become another Afghanistan at worst.

Fortunately, the USA is safely on the other side of the pond, but it shouldn't get too comfortable there - randomly assassinating people in the Middle East.
Saudi Arabia is responsible for the Sept 11 attacks on the World Trade Towers. Everyone knows this. The USA did nothing about it after escorting them home. It's ludicrous to reference those hijack plane attacks while assassinating foreign Generals decades later.

What about America's violence against Iraq? Is it fair game for one of them to drone Dick Cheney?
Talk about a terrorist... He's high on the list.
Or does the rule only go one way?
The American Government are some of the biggest terrorists going.
