You are correct. We don't know. The threat to make this personal and target Trump properties may be hot air, or it may be telegraphing their game plan. Publishing the list could be all psychology, or it could be a signal to groups all over the world near any of the Trump hotels to carry out plans that have existed for months or years.
All we can do at this point is report what happens as we know it.

So if Iran assassinated someone along the lines of a General Mattis or any other cabinet or military official, do you honestly believe the US would not have responded with all the hawks cheering them on? Again, none of this was necessary and until Trump provides details of the 'imminent threat,' it is the US that initiated this. Apparently we have a warmonger in the WH.
Sorry, but this is on Donald J. Trump. Obama is gone. It's about time the Trump crowd stops trying to blame everything on Obama and Hillary. It just doesn't work any more.
