Don't kid yourself, Trump is a gold mine for the media. I guess you are trying to imply that CNN and MSNBC are the only ones cashing in but you know as well as we do that EVERY major news outlet caters to the mush-brained American public. Fox News too. I seldom watch any of them any more. Do you?
What is a 'fair shake" for a pathological liar? I'm not sure anyone in the mainstream media has ever experienced what they are seeing with Trump, someone so mentally unbalanced and delusional, and it's hard to give people like that the "benefit of the doubt", unless you work for Fox News.

The Lefty media has hated Trump since day one and they go out of their way to report the negatives. Trump does give the media a lot of material to work with and we all wish that he would stop but it is his nature to make the news and be the news. In a way Trump has saved media outlets by winning the election because how many stories could the likes of CNN run about how brilliant Hillary is and how smart she looks in her pantsuits before people start turning off their TV's ?

This is probably a pretty good objective assessment of Trump. I cringe with embarrassment for him half the time at what he says.

As to the rest of your post, Trump cares about Trump. I do shake my head in amazement that his supporters have not yet caught on. Look at the man's entire life history, over 70 years of evidence, and point out where he has cared about something other than himself.
