I do not support the NRA they have shown a willingness to compromise with politicians who would take away our born with rights.

And on the opposite side of the spectrum:

I do not support Planned Parenthood they have shown a willingness to compromise with politicians who take away the rights of the unborn.

We in the firearms owning population do not like it one bit that we are being portrayed as such either. The seig heil goose stepping morons do NOT represent us in any way shape or form.
Of course it is an alt-right event. Normal gun owners like me would not participate in this sort of public in-your-face nonsense. You say you the goose stepping morons do not represent people like you, but you are letting them these days. They are becoming the public face of pro-2A . You have handed them a stage and a megaphone and you are not being served by their antics.

Comparing apples and oranges. Can my neighbor's gay marriage kill 50 people in a bar?

No one said all gun owners are alt-right. I am a gun owner, and not alt-right. However, the alt-right is present at this rally, which is why there is a concern that it could turn violent. Seeing pictures of guys wearing military gear like helmets, carrying AR-15s with 10 extra magazines tends to say they are not regular gun owners.

The GOP support banning guns at:

1. The White House
2. The Republican National Convention
3. Mar-a-Lago
4. The U.S. Capitol Building
5. Republican Town Halls

5 places Republicans have no problems banning guns

I wonder why the gun supporter, trump, doesn't want a show of guns at his rallies.
