See, the problem with that theory is that opposition to this process has always been bipartisan, it's never been just Republicans. The impeachment has always been entirely partisan, being driven by the far left wing of the Democrat party.

I am pretty sure that he isn't up for election this year. AFAIK the cowards up for re-election and running voted with the criminal in chief.
