Re popular vote...I played tennis and hit the ball farther than my opponent. I guess i won, according to you. Its as meaningless as your pride in winning the popular vote for a presidential election. It's not what determines the winner.
Impeach means call into question the integrity or validity of (a practice). Charge (the holder of a public office) with misconduct.
So Trump was charged (impeached) but NOT convicted.
Thats why these democrats have had me scratching my head since the impeachment vote.
I thought the definition of “impeach” was fairly common knowledge. Who hasn’t heard a phrase like “His character is unimpeachable.”? “Impeached” by it’s very definition is a question, not a conclusion. An accusation, not a verdict.
All these people on here with their “stained” comments and other nonsense, are just trying to grab onto anything they can, just to try to eek out even the smallest win they can out of this.
