The Guv has made a serious mistake. I can't imagine the local LEs or National Guard firing on civilians, and that is what it will take to get the guns from many of them. Any blood will be on the Guv's hands.
What will happen is the emboldening of tyrants, and yeah, like wildfire, will be based on whether VA succeeds.
If they do, the wildfire will be legislatures all across the country figuring their draconian nonsense will go just as easy as it did it in VA. If they don't, nothing will happen and we'll go back to everything as it is, until the next attempt by shrieking leftists to weaken the population and enslave them to the master's will.
There was some Right-Wing nut jobs heading there with 1500 rounds of ammo and home built rifles that were arrested by the FBI this week. I assume that is what triggered this State of Emergency.
What exactly is this tipping point your referring too? Are you hoping for a gun fight in the middle of the street between unarmed protesters and Right-Wing nut jobs. That is not a recipe for civil war, that would trigger the rest of America to go hard against extremism and gun rights. It would have the opposite effect, a poor one in my opinion as a 2nd amendment advocate.
Having a civil war would mean having a war against the government AKA Trump, I don't think that is what Right Wing nuts have in mind. Need to think that one through.
