Look at the Dems cry and whine.

They didn't care about the rights of the Minority in the House.

Screw them. take a vote and move on.

So are you saying using the same process that Clinton got in the senate is not fair?

Yup. It takes some chutzpah for Dems to block the Republican witnesses in the House, and then complain that the Senate won’t allow them additional Democrat witnesses.

1. Testimony by those who have testified in the impeachment hearings may never be heard.
2. Testimony by new witnesses may never be heard.
3. Documents may never be presented.

This 48 hour trial will go down in history as more evidence of the erosion of our Republic.

The House already did their inquiry, and made their vote to impeach. Why do we need to hear from people spouting their opinions again?

The only witnesses the Senate might want to hear from are fact witnesses, not the slew of opinion witnesses that the House inquiry circus was full of.

The only new witnesses we might hear from are the ones that Rep. Adam Schiff refused the Republicans to call.

It is the Senate’s job to vote solely on House case testimony. There is supposed to be a vote on the articles as written, and NOT an ever-evolving set of charges and supposedly “new evidence “.

You are in error. There was no House trial. The House proceeding followed the form of an indictment.

Yes, it was behind closed doors but the testimony was televised.

Reread the Constitution so that you know what you are talking about in the future.

This will not be a 48 hour trial.

The House will get to present the evidence it collected in the House impeachment.

There will be an opportunity to debate the need for witnesses.
Schumer supported and voted for the Clinton rules. Now during the Trump impeachment, they're not good enough.

You may want to familiarize with the term whistleblower. They are protected by an act of Congress, don't ya know.
