No evidence, no documents, no witnesses equal a fair trial? No way!
It will be a long long time before I vote for another Republican!
The way they are putting Trump before our country and our constitution is disgusting.

Stop being so obtuse. Of course the impeachment hearings were one sided, so is an indictment. This was an indictment, an indictment capishe?
Just enough to indict.
McConnell's job is to conduct an impeachment trial. McConnell instead will suppress as much evidence as possible. That's why I believe that this will be a cover up.
First, they indicted knowing that their evidence didn’t warrant it! The indictment was unwarranted. Just saying that someone is indicted means nothing when it comes from deranged Trump-haters like Pelosi and Schiff.
Second, why do you think only the Senate trial should be unbiased, and that the House hearing should be biased? It was a HEARING to determine if there was enough there to impeach a president. There was a vote, and that would presume that both sides could present evidence for or against. You seem to think that the job of the House was to impeach the president, when in fact the job was to allow full testimony to determine if it was warranted.
And third, McConnell’s job is to look at the Articles of Impeachment, along with the weak supporting evidence the a Dems sent up, and determine if they rise to the level of impeachment. His job is NOT to do the Houses’s job for them, and make up for the fact that they were so overeager to overturn the election that they didn’t complete their witness testimony.

It is not Senate's job to expand the impeachment...It is their job to review what the House have sent forward. You'd think people were ignorant of how it works.
The jury cannot also be the prosecutor.... Democrats have to be complete *****s to think so.
Actually, the GAO determined trump broke the law by withholding the Ukraine aid. But, there is no requirement a law be broken for impeachment.
Impeachment was added to the Constitution for the removing someone from office for abusing the powers and privileges of that office.
Did trump leverage the taxpayers' money to pressure a vulnerable foreign ally into a personal political favor? Did he then cover it up and refuse to cooperate with the House inquiry into it?
trump claims to have exculpatory, fact witness testimony and documentation yet refuses to supply it even in a confidential setting. In any trial, new evidence would be admitted - in fact, if pertinent evidence came to light during a trial and was not included, it could be declared a mistrial. What is trump hiding?
The trial hasn't even started yet, and the dems are already throwing temper tantrums.
No. The House is doing what is constitutionally right! The Senate is doing what is constitutionally wrong. The Republican led Congress didn't provide any oversight, that's why Donald Trump felt he could do as he pleased.
Glad to see the Senate is honoring our Constitution, tradition, and the law by reinstating due process rights for the President. The circus show that was impeachment in the House was by all accounts the most one-sided partisan farce in history. It's great that the Senate won't permit such antics.
Nope... Not the Senates Job to be prosecutor and jury.
The prosecution to make the case was open & shut in the House.

When has the jury also been the prosecutor in US history?
Don't play dumb.
