Left politics aren’t responsible for the cost of living ... unless you want to also credit the left politics for the business juggernaut? Politics isn’t responsible for the tech industry booming. And that, and the natural gifts of the the Bay, are what drives the COL there.

Not in most of the country, polls show people have never felt better when it comes to the economy and finances. Even the MSM acknowledges it. Sorry you live in the Bay Area where you don't feel this, but you can thank your local leaders. That's why Bloomberg has the best chance and why he is soaring while Biden is falling. Even Democrats are getting cold feet about ruining the economy, which is why Bloomberg is soaring despite not even being on a single debate. Tom has also been spending like a mad man and been in almost all the debates, yet he still is a dunker. People want someone who cares about the economy such as Bloomberg. The question is whether or not Bernie supporters will view it as the DNC sold out to the billionaire class again and do a protest vote or just stay home.

I don’t live in the Bay Area anymore. Moved to even sunnier San Diego 4 years ago. But when I did live in the Bay Area, including San Francisco itself, I was immune to the economy because of my minimalist lifestyle and retirement.

And what the polls say people are “feeling” doesn’t mean squat really. “Feelings” aren’t facts. “Feelings” are psychology - sold to the masses by charlatans.

I do not dispute your observations about Bloomberg. I’ll be happy to vote for the guy myself if he takes the nomination.

So I probably have a better understanding of San Francisco's current state in other words? Anyways, Bloomberg is the only one who can beat Trump, but the impeachment hearings will make it a tougher sale for Democrats in 2020. Just saw your second post. Ok that's good we agree on one thing lol.

don’t know where you get that. You don’t seem to grasp San Francisco’s current state at all in your various postings. Living there currently, or not, or with whichever alternative lifestyle, doesn’t preclude erudition.

It makes sense now why you don't things have turned for the worse in recent years.

I’m there at least ½ dozen visits a year ... and do you imagine that with my life and history there going back to mid-1960’s I lack many friends and relationships to this day? You were there for what: 4years? And you claim to have connections? Heh.

Plus I lived IN the City. Did you?

I just cannot see how you don't think SF has gone down hill in recent years. Anyways, 7 years and lived in a variety of places from Inner Richmond/Panhandle, Candlestick Park, Twin Peaks and a short time in Union Square / Bush St. Weren't you in East Bay. I remember always getting into it with the Oakland defenders, I thought you were one of the main ones, no?

This is where Bloomberg may have more of a chance than currently perceived (and several other California mayors have endorsed him in addition to Breed).
In a post Iowa/New Hampshire world, I'm starting to see advantages to Bloomberg. I'm leaning more towards Klobuchar than Buttigieg at this point (had been evenly divided) but am hoping for some progress between now and the lead up to Super Tuesday. It's time for Biden, Warren, and Steyer to go and for some endorsements to come in.
