Will trump be suing Bolton for slander, do you think?

We know from past history that trump likes to sue for this sort of thing.

Just one example:

Quote:
In 2011, an appellate court upheld a New Jersey Superior Court judge's decision dismissing Trump's $5 billion defamation lawsuit against author Timothy L. O'Brien, who had reported in his book, TrumpNation: The Art of Being the Donald (2005), that Trump's true net worth was really between $150 and $250 million. Trump had reportedly told O'Brien he was worth billions and, in 2005, had publicly stated such. Trump said that the author's alleged underestimation of his net worth was motivated by malice and had cost him business deals and damage to his reputation. The appellate court, however, ruled against Trump, citing the consistency of O'Brien's three confidential sources.

You take whatever side suits you at the time. That’s all that matters.
Here, let me help you work through this issue that is troubling you so.

Bolton is a hardcore conservative hawk who would sell his own family for the opportunity to lead America into war. I didn't like him when he was hired and I don't like him now. I am pleased that he has decided it's in his personal and political interest to expose Trump's self-dealing.

That does not mean I am on Bolton's "side." He and Trump are bad for different reasons. It's like rooting for North Korea and Iran to get in a tussle and take each other out.

To borrow an analogy that would resonate more with you, imagine if Susan Rice (former National Security Adivsor to Obama) were to write a tell-all book slamming Obama. Naturally, you'd be rooting for that book to come out, but it wouldn't make you loathe Susan Rice any less for being a librul dumbocrat.

I wouldn't be surprised. But strategically it may not be a wise thing for Trump to do.

CNN and MSNBC are latching onto this Bolton story like it's the biggest bombshell of the century. They are such gullible folks--anything anti-Trump. It's laughable....AND they are helping Bolton's book sales. They are so quick to follow that carrot on a string. LOL

This Bolton book buzz will fizzle away in another 1-2 months, and that's being generous.

I don't need Susan Rice to tell me how to feel about Obama.

It wouldn't make any difference one way or the other.

I thought Trump blocked it using Executive Privlege, which is well within his rights.

This aligns with most things - like the Dropped Wallet tests, etc - when no one is looking, a certain percentage of people simply will do the wrong thing. That is why we have society and law, etc - to attempt to mitigate them.
So, anyone who disagrees with your self serving and fragile political logic is a criminal?

Your political party checks out.

You are calling people "not fair" and "crooks" from support of a side that has tried to overturn a democratic election on anything that it can grab onto, including paid-for Kremlin disinformation and then, immediately after that, media spin meant to cover for investigation into democrat graft?

You are accusing others of being "not fair" from a place of also accusing one thing after another to the point that your media has discredited itself and anything you people accuse comes off as dishonest and political?

That's one hilarious, inverted moral pedestal you have constructed for yourself.

Witnesses for what?

Trump is the President. The President is allowed to withhold "aid" on the contingency that an investigation be conducted into political corruption that aid is tied to.

This is a basic an necessary mechanism for insuring that investigation can be conducted into corruption.

The Ukrainians would necessarily have to conduct that investigation, but the corruption is tied to money they would get.

So why would they investigate unless the reward is withheld?

You don't tell corrupt people to investigate something that they are getting paid out on without withholding that payment. As any logical non-corrupt person would easily be able to deduce.

What the Democrats are implying is that their corruption can't investigated overseas, and must be protected because they are rivals of those wanting to investigate it.

Politicians always have rivals, and its always going to be their rivals pushing investigations on the political filed: even when legitimate. Why? Because corrupt people don't investigate themselves and that corruption.

So which is it? Is corruption sacrosanct because "we have rivals" or do we have POTUS's that can effect investigations into aid that is tied to corruption?

What the democrats and their press are doing is going full nuclear to protect their own corruption racket.

Joe Biden is not a serious Presidential candidate. Everyone knows it. He will never be elected: corruption or no corruption. He is utterly unelectable in the United States in 2020. He's obviously getting frail and the US hates obvious weakness in their leaders. He's always been milquetoast. He inspires no one on any side. He's the anti-leader if America's election patterns tell us anything. He is unelectable, especially against an incumbent. This is not about crippling Biden in any election. Joe Biden will not get out out the gate in an election, now or in any future. He isn't Presidential, which is also why Hillary lost. Donald Duck would wipe the floor with Joe Biden in an election.

If anything, this over-reaction to a corruption investigation and the impeachment abuse is about crippling Donald Trump in the election.

You are not the President, nor is Congress. They are also not the electorate.

They and the wider democratic base are trying to control the President's ability to investigate corruption, as well as his wider policies.

The liberals and their Neocons have gone off of the reservation this time, and they will complain very loudly when the pendulum swings back in a manner that they really do not like. However, that is the assured outcome.

I applaud this president . The dems hate Trump because he is such a successful president and they want socialism here. The globalists own MSM and brain wash the masses daily to hate him. They don't care about Americans. They want us as global citizens and take our identity and our sovereignty away. We are nothing to the globalists. Our votes of power they want to take away. Just wait till a globalist socialist gets in . Your rights as well as mine will be gone. You will be a worthless global citizen with no identity.

Wow. Republican talking points!

You don't think the former National Security Advisor claiming that the President's core defense to impeachment and removal is an unadulterated lie is "bombshell"?
