Both parties are moving away from the mainstream. I hardly recognize the Republican party any more and the Democrats are looking more obtuse. I don't blame Nancy for shredding the transcript though -- it was an honest response.

Remember she's the reason that Obama lost the senate in 2014, and lost the chance to place another member on the Supreme Ct. Every single on of those Republicans, who took seats from incumbent Democrats in 2014 ran on the Obama/Pelosi record. It was devastating to the Democrats.
It will be devastating again. I predicted this on this forum on Nov 2018 when I said that Democrats taking control of the house was the greatest re-election gift to Trump of all time. Paul Ryan was no longer the problem, Nancy Pelosi was. And man did she prove me right.

I believe Pelosi is succumbing to her advanced age similar to Biden, and Bernie. She's become worse and worse as she ages, and I think it effects her judgment. I'm not trying to be mean, it's just a fact that she is more, and more mentally and physically unstable. These career politicians crave power so much they always stay way TOO LONG.

True....I've seen this with my own parents. As they aged (and Dad....RIP), negative personality traits became amplified and their judgement was definitely impaired. Unfortunately, as you point out, the politicians are so determined to hold onto power, no matter the cost, that they "overstay their welcome" in many, many instances. Pelosi is a clear example. Why else would a seasoned politician such as she cave to the demands of the crazies on the radical left (including someone like a no-nothing like AOC) and agree to an impeachment?
