Taking more than 1/2 of anyone's money by force should be illegal.

Sanders is never winning anyway.

Who are most folks, in your world? No one making 250k and under will have their taxes raised. Even those making up to 250k to 500k will only have their taxes raised by 3%. If you make over 500k up to 2 million a year, your taxes go up 8%. If you make up to 10 million your taxes rise 15%. Clearly, you don't know what 1% means.

It's not more than half their total income, it's a graduated rate that doesn't kick in until the first dollar over $10 million. So the effective rate wouldn't be anywhere near 40% let alone 52%

That doesn’t include the hit some would also get if he gets Medicare for all passed. My added costs (per his calculator) is an additional 8K over what I currently pay for my health care. So not only do I get a Bernie tax increase, I also get to pay FAR more for healthcare. Makes Trumps 6K tax increase I‘m currently enjoying look small in comparison.

Yeah, a Bernie presidency would be awesome.

Well let us do the MATH....... Working Full Time, 40 hours.

40 x 15 = $600
600 x 52 weeks = $31,200 a year.

When asked how Bernie would pay for his Free Healthcare for all, he said, "Raise taxes to 52% for everyone making over $29,000 a year.

This is how this plays out.
52% of $31,200 = $16,224 in income tax
$31,200 - $16,224 = $14,976
$14,976 \ 52 weeks = $288 per week take home.

$288 \ 40 hours a week = $7.20 per hour for their labor.

I swear they Commies prey on the ignorant, for their power.
oh dear -- spreading false information again.

Bernie is not calling on a taxation rate of 52 per cent on someone making 31,200 -- that was just a lie that was spread around.

So you can try and pretend you are doing math based on real numbers but this is phoney baloney malarky -- probably spread by some Russian bot.

Bernie has used 51% as a tax rate for those making 10 million or more -- might have to redo your little equation there.

Sorry -- but seriously -- do some fact checking. It doesn't do your image any good to spread malarkey.......

And it appears you are right -- the Russians do prey on the ignorant......I'm sorry.

I did the math on this thread

It came from this website:

I do have a problem with website calling it disposable income when they haven't figured in SS and medicare tax. They didn't do it on the current tax rates either so it's still a fair comparison.

It might be more than that if you currently have your insurance premiums taken off your gross salary when you get your W2.

Because he could steal every penny the "very well off" have and still not be able to pay for what he has promised. People need to get their heads out of their @sses and wake up to the fact that everyone will pay more under socialism.

This study by PERI researchers Robert Pollin, James Heintz, Peter Arno, Jeannette Wicks-Lim and Michael Ash presents a comprehensive analysis of the prospects for a Medicare for All health care system in the United States. The most fundamental goals of Medicare for All are to significantly improve health care outcomes for everyone living in the United States while also establishing effective cost controls throughout the health care system. These two purposes are both achievable. As of 2017, the U.S. was spending about $3.24 trillion on personal health care—about 17 percent of total U.S. GDP. Meanwhile, 9 percent of U.S. residents have no insurance and 26 percent are underinsured—they are unable to access needed care because of prohibitively high costs. Other high-income countries spend an average of about 40 percent less per person and produce better health outcomes. Medicare for All could reduce total health care spending in the U.S. by nearly 10 percent, to $2.93 trillion, while creating stable access to good care for all U.S. residents.

YES!!!! Because if you factor into that state taxes, taxes on utilities, sales tax, property tax, vehicle tax......it's not fair.

And I know this 'formula' is falified and full of @#$%....and we don't need stupid memes like this to make a good point about the cost of Bernie's programs.
