If I'm not mistaken the 29,000 applies to a typical family. It might be anything over 12,000 for an individual.

While these calculations aren't 100% accurate, It aligns with exactly what he's proposing.
Not even close.

Income $31,200.00
Standard deduction – $12,200.00
Taxable income = $19,000.00
Tax on income – $2,089.50
M4A 4.0% income-based premium[1] – $760.00
Disposable income = $28,350.50
Effective tax rate 9.1%

Bernie-Leninism is founded on the assumption that there are enough rich people to make most or all poor people middle class -- and that there will always be enough rich people. I wonder if anyone has actually done the math on that.

Another question about Bernie-Leninism and its core assumption is how to keep rich people from voting with their feet -- a major problem with any redistribution scheme in history.

In my view the only proven way historically to alleviate poverty and want is for a society to create wealth. Bernie-Leninism not only does nothing to encourage the creation of wealth, it seems to demonize it.

That's the Democrat Party and Bernie is passing the purity test when other candidates fail...

Good-bad, in regards whether or not anyone is getting "fooled again", remember that the new boss will likely be the same as the old boss.

Did I get it right?
Many are no better off under Trump. Plus he has added trillions to our deficit. Who do you think is going to pay for this. Oh yeah, all of us. And how are we going to pay for it?

Bernie's has the glow. Its written all over him. Just like when a woman is pregnant, Bernie is pregnant with the nomination. His aura screams candidate. That's it folks. No matter how much the establishment Dems scurry and scramble to stop him, it's destiny that they are clumsily and futilely attempting to fight.

I find it amusing that dems who are supporting a socialist don't seem to realize that dems are totalitarians first and will decide who THEY want the nominee to be, not the voters.

The part about being "stupid" for being a socialist is 100% true. The author, who states he lived in a socialist/communist country, knows first hand the evils and disasters of socialism. However, those informed by a "TA with a man bun" don't seem to read history or understand economics and are thus duped by the allure of socialism.

LOL.
