Mr. Trump deserves to be criticized. Especially so in this case where, sadly, he and his people are politicizing and weaponizing an infectious disease as their next effort to divide the country and demonize the Democratic Party, all the while continuing to sow absolute chaos in these United States of America.

Gov. Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency Saturday afternoon in response to the new cases of COVID-19, telling agencies to use all resources necessary to respond to the outbreak. He also authorized the use of the Washington National Guard if necessary.
Honest to God, at this point I think there's some kind of disconnect somewhere.

Either this is a balls to the walls world wide pandemic .. or a minor case of something flu-like in most people.

Which is it?

He did not call the coronavirus a hoax, he called the Democratic attack on his response to the problem a hoax.[/quote]

Up to interpretation....and it shouldn’t be! Not from the President of the United States. He does this regularly and his defenders defend. This is not the time ( nor is any time for that matter) for him to be making partisan attacks. Although I think he is incapable... he needs to stay on point, focus on the issue, stick to facts, not mention how great he is, and defer to experts. And then he needs not the next hour or day turn around and blame someone else and or reverse everything he said.

One must not assume in this type of case. Prior to her death you can rest assured that her family or known contacts were seen questioned and then a geometric tree is created to filter other potential contacts. This is going on at a very fast paced world wide.

Early symptom recognition is crucial.

Fever and dry cough are the hallmark symptoms.

How about we know it's going to spread. Older folks and autoimmune people are in big trouble. It's balls to the walls for them, other's not so much. I would suggest that those in danger isolate themselves now and don't come out for several months. Other people can take precautions and carry on. That's the disconnect (if that's what you want to call it). It's not a one size fits all type of thing.

The flu bug will be over in a few weeks, as we pass out of flu season. Sunlight (UV light specifically) kills viruses and strengthen the immune system, and warmer weather does the same.

Now, if only sunlight were sufficient to kill off the evil spawn of socialism, greed and stupidity that has infected the Democratic party.

This makes no sense but hang on to that theory -- it feeds the Trump fans.

Could be argued that it looks like Bernie is not going to win in South Carolina and the markets are reacting to that....WHAT?
At this point, I don't think Bernie makes much of a difference. If he is still the Democratic contender in September and has not utterly crashed in the polls, it's another story. I do see a screeching loon of a socialist in the WH as a major driver in a market correction. If you look back to '16, you see that the really serious downturn in the DOW coincided with Oblubber's rise in the polls.
