What a shizz show this was with an emcee who has been hanging around with people who are known to have the virus slobbering in and sharing the mic, shaking hands, sprewing droplets on the podium and telling everyone to follow sanitary practices he and his band of supposed experts clearly did not. Dr. Fauci is impressive, does a great job explaining the curve and trying to be ensure the spread has the lowest peak possible. The "Fauci curve". What hes saying should be calming rational people.
So national emergency declaration is a good thing, but the following picking of winners and losers sort of nonsense that just says "hey you can profit off this emergency-and profit obscenely well" is the sort of thing that makes us create our own coronovirus test, and then find out its flawed meanwhile the rest of the world uses different design-which was offered to us to use for free" And set us bk weeks. And a refusal to allow us to buy tests from other countries.
Far be it for Congress to actually look over our laws and keep them up to date.
Now do you think anyone in DC will bother to see our guidelines will be the death of us and work to get them updated ? My money is on "no".
I honestly doubt there were any restrictions that actually impacted the production of the tests in a timely fashion that could not have been overcome with the current authority provided to Trump. Its simply a convenient excuse for why they've failed so badly to date.
